Completed my BA in Literature and Drama with First Class Hons in England after a spell living in Hong Kong. Moving on to an MA in English Literary Studies, and becoming a certified mechanic. Stage manager for a local theatre group. I like knitting, getting my hands dirty working on my car, the sea, books, films, baking and the phrase DEAL WITH IT.
I don't like wedge heels, and I don't understand fashion. The two are possibly related.

Batman in the Real World
Unlike Superman, Batman never professes to be doing what he does for truth, justice, and the American Way. I’m not sure Batman believes in any of those things—except his truth and his justice.And, oddly enough, that makes him the most American of all the superheroes. And the most terrifying.
I love stuff like this, that examines why the public love some superheroes more than others. We’ve learned from all the cancelled comic series that we don’t just want someone who looks awesome and has bad-ass powers. There has to be more to them than that, something about their character that clicks with something deep inside us.
